Whoer is an incredibly versatile tool that brings a lot of convenience for Internet users. There are five practical features that will allow you to find out important information about your Internet connection. Here is what you can do with Whoer.
Is My Privacy Protected with Whoer?
It is possible to find a great deal of online tools that promise to give you anonymity, but not all of them are effective. Even if you are paying a high fee, you may find that they are crash very often and that they don’t offer the features that can help you to protect your privacy. On top of that, some services don’t have good customer support and their websites may not work well. Plus, your personal data may be sent to government agencies and other parties. Thankfully, Whoer offers fantastic performance thanks to the fact that it is supported by a team of professionals. They know exactly how an efficient anonymizing solution should work and what features it should offer, which is why they keep no logs.

How Much is Whoer? Is There a Free Trial?
Whoer VPN offers three pricing plans: monthly for $9.90, a six-month pack for $39.90 and yearly access for $59.90. They offer a 1-week free trial for the full service, no restrictions.
The payment methods accepted are Bitcoin, YandexMoney, Perfect Money, WebMoney and QIWI. They don’t accept PayPal at the time but customer support said they will in the future.
I couldn’t find any information related to refund policy, so I asked support. I was informed by the customer support team that the license terms are under development but that they will refund me if the product doesn’t work. As far as performance, they suggested to use the free trial for testing purposes, so I recommend that option as well and not getting your hopes up about receiving a refund.
Whoer Speed Test
Another benefit of using Whoer.net is the convenient speed test that allows you to find out if your ISP is really offering what it promises. They may tell you that you have a 100 Mbit/s connection and you may be paying a high fee for it, but what if they are not telling you the truth? With the speed test, you can select a test server on the map and the system will let you see the real download and upload speed that you get. This means that you will be able to confirm if your ISP lives up to its claims or if you are being overcharged for a slower connection.
How is Customer Service at Whoer?
The website is great, it has useful features and information available and the FAQ page is also very useful. There’s a form at the bottom that lets you get in touch with the support team if you have further questions.
The customer support was great and fast especially on their live chat feature which was refreshing to say the least.
Whoer VPN offers applications for Windows and MacOS. For Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS and Debian) they offer configuration files that can be easily used with OpenVPN.
There is also a browser web proxy generator which can change your IP to a variety of locations. Keep in mind that this is not secured or encrypted, it’s just meant to by-pass Geo-location restrictions and it’s completely free on their website regardless of whether you have an account or not.
The website is very easy to use and it has a lot of useful functions. The web proxy generator mentioned above, a speed test, a latency test and a whois service which works surprisingly well. There is also a blog, or an article section where you can find useful articles and some news.
The Windows application is well-designed and very responsive. It’s easy to use and I had no problems while running the tests. The macOS application has the same theme although I haven’t tested that one.
There’s also a guarantee that services such as Netflix, Hulu and other popular media streaming websites will work. I’m not sure how they’re going to honor that promise on the long run seeing how VPN services are having lots of problems with Netflix. They work for now but I would recommend checking it out with the free trial before committing, especially if this is the main reason why you use VPN.
Is Whoer Safe?
Every Internet user should know that VPN services are more secure and privacy-oriented than proxies. The essential reason why to prefer WhoerVPN to any proxy is that the traffic will be thoroughly encrypted while connections via proxies make you only anonymous.
Still, I’d recommend the provider of Whoer VPN to post the information about the protocols supported and encryption methods applied as there’s no such information on their website.
The developer emphasizes that Whoer VPN is secure for Wi-Fi, online payments and bank transfers. It hides your activities from ISPs as they won’t know what you visit on the Internet.
Moreover, Whoer VPN is located in Cyprus and under the jurisdiction of this country. That’s great as it is out of 5 or 14 eyes and on OpenVPN, the service uses AES-256-CBC for the cipher and 2048-bit RSA for key exchange.
This VPN is great and simple, I would definitely spend money on this as opposed to some of the mediocre VPNs out there.
