USAIP.EU VPN: In what ways can this one be helpful?

Looking to change your IP address to access regionally restricted content when you are outside your country? Looking for a reliable service to protect your online activities and sensitive data? The solution to both issues is a VPN.

USAIP.EU is a European VPN service provider, which happens to be one of the least popular names in the VPN industry. But, can the VPN service still deliver in terms of features? In what ways can this VPN be helpful to users? Time to find out!

Is My Privacy Protected with USA IP VPN?

Let’s be honest, the privacy policy of USAIP.EU VPN is perhaps the least comprehensive we have read so far. Though the VPN service mentions that they do not hold customers’ personal information that could end up compromising their privacy and security, their data sharing or disclosure statements seem to be highly controversial.
The VPN service states that they, “will only share information with third-party agents who provide services for our internal business operations…Apart from this, we disclose personal information only in the good faith belief that we are required to do so by law, or that doing so is reasonably necessary to: comply with legal process; respond to any netiquette claims; or protect the rights, property or personal safety of USAIP.EU, our customers, or the public”.
As you can see from the statement, USAIP.EU does disclose user information to third parties, which is the main issue that bothers us, regardless of their reasons and justification for the same. Also, they are not clear about their logging policy, which happens to be another factor of concern. Overall, we are not happy with the company’s privacy policy and wouldn’t recommend it for this feature.

How Much is USA IP VPN? Is There a Free Trial?

USAIP.EU VPN offers four different pricing plans: 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, and 1 year, each priced at $1.49, $3.99, $7.99, and $74.99 respectively. The pricing is certainly high when compared to many other VPN services on the market today, especially taking into account the features offered by the service.
In addition to these plans, the VPN service offers a Free Demo plan, which you can use by using the username and password given on the website. The features you get with this free access are extremely limited, which includes limitation with speed and access to the number of VPN servers as well.
When it comes to payment methods, USAIP.EU accepts all major credit and debit cards, PayPal, Payza, Skrill, Ukash, and more.

USA IP VPN Speed Test

Let’s just start by saying that USAIP.EU VPN has a total of only 35 VPN servers in 20 countries around the world. This number is very low for a VPN service provider, especially if you are expecting to get great speeds for streaming and other online activities. Regardless, in our tests, we experienced mixed speeds from the service’s VPN servers located in different countries. For instance, we were able to experience good speeds from some of its US servers, while those in Italy and Germany delivered poor speeds. We do think that if decent speeds we received they would be sufficient for streaming, and when it comes to P2P sharing, we see that it is supported only by certain servers.

How is Customer Service at USA IP VPN?

The customer support options extended by USAIP.EU are not very compelling. The VPN service provides support via phone and email. If you wish to contact the team via phone, you can do so Monday to Friday between 9 am and 5 pm GMT. There is no 24/7 support offered by the service, and there are no other viable means to contact them either.
One thing that we like about the service is their comprehensive setup instructions. They have detailed setup instructions for each device type, which will be extremely useful for first-time users. However, the FAQ section is as minimal as it can be.

Of the many VPN services we have come across over the years, we remember a few that had a poor website, and USAIP.EU VPN, without a doubt, belongs to the top few of that list. The website is simply horrible to look at, too many words and too much information on every single page, with no proper layout or menus. All together they make it highly unattractive and less user-friendly.

The signup process is quite easy. Enter your name, email address, and preferred password to register for the service and then choose a pricing plan that interests you.
USAIP.EU VPN clients are available for Windows, Mac OS, iPhone, Android, iPad, Linux, and Router devices, giving users a wide selection of operating systems to choose from. And as mentioned earlier, it operates 35 servers in 20 different countries across the world.
Like any other small VPN service provider, the features set offered by USAIP.EU is also quite standard, and some of the features you get to access are:

  • Access to all servers for all pricing plans.
  • Public Wi-Fi security.
  • Ability to bypass traffic screening.
  • Unmetered and unlimited traffic.
  • Online ordering abroad made easy.
  • No manual setup required.
  • Worldwide access to VOIP
  • Instant activation.
  • Personal data protection.
  • No installation needed.
  • IP address hiding.

As you can see, the features are basic, and the VPN service doesn’t have anything unique or exclusive to offer, which could be disappointing for seasoned VPN users.

USAIP.EU VPN supports all the different VPN protocols: PPTP, L2TP/IPSec, SSTP, and OpenVPN. In the case of encryption standards, the service mentions that it uses up to 2048-bit key encryption. The fact that the VPN supports so many protocols makes it desirable, as it allows users to choose one based on the device they use. Of course, for utmost security, you need to go with the OpenVPN protocol.
We couldn’t find any information from the website on how to prevent leaks; however, we did not experience leaks of any sort during our testing, which is an advantage.

Bottom Line

Being honest, USAIP.EU is not the best VPN service you will get to use, even if you are new to the whole concept of a VPN. The service is basic in every aspect, except for its security features. The company must focus on improving in a lot of areas, which is most likely to take a lot of time. Therefore, this certainly isn’t a VPN service we would recommend.
