Getflix VPN has grown increasingly popular in recent times. Although most VPNs focus on security and privacy, Getflix chose to focus on the enabling access to restricted content. Let’s look at some of its policies and features.

Is My Privacy Protected with GetFlix VPN?

Getflix does not track, collect or log any of your data, except for what the users themselves wish to share. The company actually encourages their users to share some info because it will make customer support better, more efficient, and faster. In addition, they claim that if they want to give your information to a third party, they will never do so without asking you first.

Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Global Stealth, Inc collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the Getflix website (“Site”). This Privacy Policy applies to the Site and all associated products and services.

How Much is GetFlix VPN? Is There a Free Trial?

Getflix has five different plans to choose from, as well as a 14-day free trial that you can use to see if the service works well for you. The company accepts many different forms of payment, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and JCB. The five different plans you can choose from include a one-month plan, three-month, six-month, year-long or two-year plan. The subscriptions will auto-renew, but you are able to cancel at any time. All plans include a free VPN service.

GetFlix VPN Speed Test

Performance tests gave generally poor results. Over short hops we found that download speeds were less than half our usual rates, significantly below average, although still reaching a usable 18-20Mbps. Switching to a US server (connecting to the UK) saw latency double and both upload and download speeds plummet to a sixth of our usual rate, barely 3Mbps. We tried other US servers with very little change.
Privacy checks didn’t improve the picture, either, with able to identify our real ISP via both DNS and WebRTC leaks. Getflix may be cheap, but maybe there’s a reason for that…

How is Customer Service at GetFlix VPN?

Getflix has a vast knowledge base that covers many issues which you might have with their service. There is also an FAQ section, although not a very extensive one. As for direct support, it is offered only through customer support tickets working 24/7, all year round. There is no live chat available at this time.
Getflix maintains a strong presence on social media, especially on Facebook, and many users have found that directing your questions to their Facebook team can sometimes get you sorted out quicker than by submitting a ticket.

Is GetFlix VPN Safe?

Getflix Full VPN provides 4 different layers of VPN security protocols:
PPTP Protocol
PPTP provides 128 bit encryption. It’s supported by almost every operating system on PCs and mobile devices. It is also simple to setup. It usually provides very fast speeds, but some Internet Service Providers are throttling this protocol which may give you very slow speeds and disconnections. In such case we suggest you to test L2TP, SSTP or OpenVPN protocols.
L2TP Protocol – Suggested for Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android
L2TP provides 256 bit encryption. It’s more secure then PPTP and also supported by almost every operating system on PCs and mobile devices. Simple to setup. Provides very fast speed.
SSTP Protocol – Suggested for Windows
SSTP provides 2048 bit encryption. It’s very secure but can only be used on Windows operating systems. Simple to setup. Slower than PPTP and L2TP.
OpenVPN UDP Protocol – Suggested for Windows, Mac, Linux
OpenVPN provides 2048 bit encryption. It’s also very secure and supported by almost every operating system on PCs and mobile devices. It’s complicated to setup. OpenVPN provides the fastest speed.

Bottom Line

This is among the few VPNs that have proven to be impressive in terms of features, privacy and pricing. I would definitely recommend this service to users who want more features for less money.
