New Listings on Netflix US in June and How to Watch Them Anywhere

With many of us unable to work at the moment, we’re spending more time in front of our screens than ever before. Since there’s no work to be getting on with for many of us, it doesn’t get much better than guilt-free Netflix. If June’s line-up of new shows and movies for Netflix US is anything to go by, we won’t be leaving the couch any time soon.

Remember, just because you don’t live in the United States doesn’t mean you can’t access any of the shows and movies we’ve listed below. For those of you who aren’t aware, Netflix geoblocks its content, which means every region has its own unique library that’s usually only accessible to people from that region. But, if you use a VPN, you can access any library you want no matter where you are in the world. All you need to do is make sure the device you’re watching Netflix on is connected to your VPN. Get your own VPN and make sure you don’t miss our top picks of the latest Netflix shows coming in June.

13 Reasons Why (Season 4)

The fourth and final season of Netflix’s original teen drama series is dropping in June and fans can’t wait to find out what happens as the characters graduate college. 13 Reasons Why hasn’t been without its fair share of controversy due to its sensitive themes and depiction of mental health issues. For those unfamiliar with the show, it follows the decisions that led to a young student taking her own life. Despite the controversy, it’s an incredibly popular show and one that’s worth a watch.

Da 5 Bloods

Legendary actor, writer, and producer, Spike Lee, directs an epic drama that follows the story of four African American Vietnam war veterans returning to Vietnam to search for treasure and the remains of their fallen squad leader.

Priest

The 2011 American action horror explores what kind of world we’d live in if humans and vampires were locked into an eternal war. Paul Bettany plays the haunting protagonist simply named Priest, a vampire war veteran who returns to the frontline after his niece is kidnapped by vampires.

Pokemon: Journeys

Ash and Pikachu leave town for an exciting new adventure that’s available exclusively on Netflix. Pokemon: Journeys is officially the 23rd season of the animated Pokemon show and takes place after Ash and Pikachu leave the Alola region with their new friend, Goh. Together, they’ll work harder than ever before, but only one of them can become the Pokemon master. The first twelve episodes will be available to watch from June 12.

The Disaster Artist

James Franco directs and stars in a film that depicts the creation of one of the best worst films ever made: The Room. Aspiring filmmaker Tommy Wiseau strikes up a remarkable friendship with Greg Sestero after they meet in an acting class. Tommy, impressed by Greg’s determination as an actor, encourages him to move to Los Angeles. Tommy ends up writing a screenplay called ‘The Room’, which he funds the production of, but the cast of Tommy’s film soon discovers how difficult he is to work with.

Three Best VPNs for Netflix

Netflix

ExpressVPN

A huge network of ultra-fast private servers gives you unlimited speeds, covering 160 locations across 94 countries. With so many countries to access, you’ll be able to easily bypass any geoblocks and access the content you want. ExpressVPN is one of the most reputable VPN providers out there with unbeatable security features. Prices start from $8.32 a month.

NordVPN

We’ve ranked NordVPN as one of the fastest VPN providers out there, meaning you’ll be able to easily stream your favorite TV shows and movies in 4K. Military-grade encryption will keep you protected while letting you connect to private servers all over the world. Better still, prices are incredibly cheap, with a monthly subscription starting at $2.99.

CyberGhost VPN

CyberGhost has built a solid reputation for providing its users with the highest levels of security and allowing them to browse the internet anonymously at ultra-fast speeds. The VPN has a strict no-logs policy, military-grade encryption, and DNS protection. If you’re looking for a budget VPN that still offers all the same features as the bigger names, CyberGhost is a fantastic choice as you can connect up to seven devices simultaneously with a single subscription for just $2.75 a month.

Summary

When bypassing Netflix’s geo-blocks, two important things you want to consider are the choice of server locations and the speeds you’ll be able to access. Netflix regularly updates its platform and can detect and block access from cheaper VPNs, so make sure you go with a reputable name that has a great selection of private servers located all over the world.
